  You can take the Idahoan out of the state but you can’t take the state out of the Idahoan. That is one statement that most people who were born and raised in the Gem State will agree with. We enjoy doing things a certain way here in Idaho. These habits are so ingrained in us that we find them pretty difficult to unlearn. How many of these nine undeniable habits have you caught yourself doing? 1. Valuing function over fashion. Idahoans are prepared for any circumstance and any change of weather. You sure as heck won't find a true Idahoan under-dressed in the winter and vice versa for summer. We're not too concerned with the latest fashion trends, but we are concerned with dressing comfortably. 2. Greeting strangers on the street. Here in Idaho, we're friendly to our neighbors. We wave and greet strangers as we pass them on the street, even if that means just giving someone a quick head nod in their direc...

There are some things that we experience here that the rest of the country just doesn’t get. That’s what makes living in Idaho such a treat!
